Many net neutrality advocates want the government to reclassify the Internet as a public utility to prevent Internet companies from blocking and prioritizing certain content. While there is widespread, bipartisan support for principles of “Internet openness,” Title II would not even allow the FCC to ban all forms of paid prioritization. So why are net neutrality hardliners pushing Title II? It’s all part of a bait-and-switch to convince Americans to support heavy-handed, government regulation of the Internet.

TechFreedom President Berin Szoka sat down with Ross Kaminsky on 850 KOA Denver to discuss President Obama’s support of Title II and the state of the net neutrality debate.
