Join TechFreedom and the International Center for Law & Economics this Friday, September 27, as we commemorate the 99th anniversary of the Federal Trade Commission Act. Commissioner Maureen Ohlhausen will deliver the keynote address, “100 is the New 30: How the FTC Stays Vital in the Digital Age,” followed by a fireside chat with our own Berin Szoka and Geoffrey Manne, and Chris Cwalina, Partner at Holland & Knight.

As Director of the FTC’s Office of Policy Planning, Commissioner Ohlhausen was one of the primary authors of the “FTC at 100” report published in January 2009. Her remarks will survey that report’s key recommendations for how the FTC should evolve as an institution.  She will also discuss how the FTC should address a range of consumer protection and competition issues at the cutting edge of technological change.

Space is limited so RSVP below if you plan to attend in person. Watch the full video from the event here. You can follow the conversation on Twitter on the #FTC100 hashtag.
